Support groups are one of the best ways in which to obtaining assistance in your journey through grief. Initially, participants are often shy and reserved when first joining a group, however these feelings are quickly replaced with the sense of comfort in the knowledge that others who have also experienced a loss are dealing with many of the same emotions and situations. Members begin by identifying with each other which leads to reaching out to one another in a caring, supportive manner. |
